The National Weather Service at Newport/Morehead City posted this table of top wind gusts that have been recorded through the evening of Saturday Nov. 16 across our area.
Winds are at their peak now and will remain steady at these levels through the night. But the NWS says that starting around sunrise Sunday, the winds will begin to lessen a bit.
