Rebecca “Becky” Cates Robb, 49, of Manns Harbor, passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019, surrounded by family at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Born in Columbia, NC on March 29, 1970, she was the daughter of Dorothy Anderson and the late David F. Cates.
Along with her late husband, Craig J. “Clockman” Robb, she owned and operated Clockman’s Computers and Printing. Becky was an avid Dr. Seuss fan and was lovingly known as “Gram I Am” by her grandchildren. She enjoyed socializing, concerts, the beach, and spending time with her grandchildren. She could be found hanging out by the pool during the day and the bonfire at night with her friends and family. Becky could light up a room just by walking into it.
In addition to her mother, Becky is survived by her three children, Halley, Kirby, and Anakin Robb; two grandchildren, Evelyn and Lionel; a sister, Jenny Bradley; and a brother, Dale Cates.
The family will hold a gathering to celebrate the lives of Becky and Clockman at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Interfaith Community Outreach (PO Box 1663, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948 or online at www.interfaithoutreach.com).
