Manteo football team improves record to 6-1 with a win over Gates County

The streets were decorated in black and gold for Manteo’s homecoming parade on October 11 which was led by Grand Marshal Emanuel Davis, a former star at Manteo High School and in the Canadian Football League.

Manteo football team improves record to 6-1 with a win over Gates County

The Manteo (NC) varsity football team won a Friday, October 11 home conference game against Gates County (Gatesville, NC) by a score of 35-12.

The crowd at Friday’s league contest between the Manteo Redskins (Manteo, NC) and the visiting Gates County Red Barons (Gatesville, NC), observed Manteo‘s football squad defeat Gates County by a count of 35-12.

The Redskins now own a 6-1 record. They play next when they travel to Camden County for a Albemarle 1A contest on Friday, October 18. (Max Preps )
