Local REALTOR® Elected to NC REALTORS® Board of Directors

By on August 29, 2019

The Outer Banks Association of REALTORS® (OBAR) announced that member Kim Endre, of Resort Realty has been elected as the 2020/21 North Carolina REALTORS® (NCR) Region One Vice President.

Kim has been campaigning for the position since announcing her bid in November 2018.  2019 OBAR President J-P Peron, The Outer Banks Real Estate Group of eXp, Corova, says, “Kim’s hard work and determination paid off. In addition to working as a full time REALTOR®, Kim was traveling to neighboring Associations and attending their membership and Board meetings. She truly gave her all in this campaign and we are very proud of her for it.”

As 2020/21 NC Region 1 Vice President, Kim will serve on the Executive Committee of NC REALTORS® Board of Directors. This means that OBAR has a seat at the table, and the unique issues REALTORS®, Property Managers, and OBX homeowners face will be directly heard by our state association. Says Endre, “We have such an exceptional market that includes real estate sales and property management. We have a huge tourism industry which sets us apart from the rest of the state. We must deal with issues such as beach nourishment, and wind insurance, among many related subjects. It was important that a member of OBAR won so that our diverse needs can be acknowledged every month at every meeting!”

NC Region 1 is located along a majority of North Carolina’s coastline including 10 counties and the following REALTOR® Associations: OBAR, Albemarle Area Association, Carteret County Association, Neuse River Region Association, Washington-Beaufort County Board, Jacksonville Board, and Topsail Island Associations.
