Last week to see Ray Matthews’ photography exhibit at the Dare Arts Council

By on August 26, 2019

The exhibit is up through August 31. Stop by and see all of his great captures of the Outer Banks. Ray is a native of Pasquotank County, NC, but he has lived in Dare County for 47 years. He says that his real love is the landscape and the way Outer Bankers live in it. The challenge for him is to isolate the unique moments and present them as wonders worthy of attention through his photography.

The goal of this show is to give you a sense of the feelings Ray has for his home on the Outer Banks, and some resonance with your own experience.  Ray says that there is an endless supply of compelling subjects to shoots and a great variety of light on the Outer Banks in which to see them.
