Max’s Pizza Company to get new digs and a new name

By on May 7, 2019

Max’s Pizza Company is moving from their long-time Ocean Plaza location in Kitty Hawk to the Dare Center in Kill Devil Hills and in the process will become Max’s Italian Restaurant.

Max’s will take over the unit on the southern end of the Dare Center where Cafe Franco and the short-lived Crazy Iguana formerly operated.

Owners Grant and Natalya Sharp hope to open just before Memorial Day.

The new location will greatly expand their seating options, provide room for a bar and a waiting area and allow a larger menu to include more traditional Italian and Mediterranean fare in addition to their popular pizza.

Max’s will be open year-round and at this time they plan for their delivery area will range from Southern Shores in the north to just above Jockey’s Ridge in the south.

We’ll keep you posted as the opening date approaches.
