Jacqueline Smith, 74, of Southern Shores died unexpectedly in Norfolk, VA February 25, 2019.

Jackie was enjoying her life playing Mah-Jong, dining out with friends, walking her dog Trudy on the beach and making new friends. Jackie was also a member of Duck Woods Country Club where she enjoyed many events and occasions.

Her survivors include her cousins Bill Bobskill (Nancy) of Massachusetts, and Susan Staves (Frank) also of Massachusetts and other extended family members. Also surviving are numerous friends.

Friends will host a celebration of Jackie’s life Sunday March 3, 2019 from 3 pm to 5 pm at Black Pelican Restaurant in Kitty Hawk.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Jackie’s memory may be forwarded to the Dare county SPCA.
