At a recent community food and coat drive, Ocean Atlantic Rentals was proud to donate manual labor and truck use.

Partnering with PPG Paints and The North Banks Rotary Club, OAR helped with the distribution of coats, clothing & food that was gathered.

This year over 3,000 items were collected and distributed to food banks and churches in Dare and Currituck counties.

Ocean Atlantic Rentals’ General Manager, Chris Marik, said, “It is an honor for Ocean Atlantic Rentals [OAR] to be able to support PPG Paints & The North Banks Rotary Club with manpower and the use of our box truck for this worthy endeavor. We [Ocean Atlantic Rentals] wanted to share the good vibes of supporting our neighbors in need.”

“Since 1979 our OAR family places a priority on having a heart for our Outer Banks communities and serving beyond expectations. We recognize and appreciate PPG Paints and The North Banks Rotary who also share these qualities of ‘going beyond the call of duty’ to make a difference,” said Ocean Atlantic Rentals’ Vice President, Blake Buchert.

PPG Paint’s General Manager, Charles Pickell Sr., said, “I would like to thank everyone for helping us at PPG Paints with our Food & Coat Drive. We are going to be able to help our neighbors, but please do not stop this giving spirit, people really do need some help and I do not want my neighbors to be cold and hungry.”
