The last house in Bermuda Bay’s Devonshire Place project has been sold.

Construction on the 38 single-family townhomes in Kill Devil Hills began in early 2015. The properties were touted as maintenance-free and fully-furnished, with prices ranged from $284,500 to $419,500.

Coldwell Banker Seaside Realty was the exclusive listing firm on the project with Heather Sakers as the listing agent representing the seller, FLOBX.

The last of the 38 units sold in December, marking the sell out of the entire Devonshire Place community. The average sales price of the 38 homes sold was $332,200.

Of those 38 units, 24 were both listed and sold by Coldwell Banker Seaside Realty, including 13 that were listed and sold by Sakers. The majority of buyers who purchased a unit intend to use it as an investment property and/or a second home.

“We worked closely with the developers while marketing Devonshire Place and are very pleased to have sold all of the homes within a 3-year time period. Devonshire Place represented over $16 million in sales volume for our firm and was a very successful endeavor for us. We look forward to working with FLOBX on future Outer Banks communities,” says Pamela Smith, Vice President of Sales.

“Representing the sales of 38 homes at Devonshire Place was a big task, and one that I am grateful for,” Sakers said. “This hidden gem of a community is really the first of its kind on the Outer Banks and KDH offering detached condo single family style homes, and once buyers realized the huge benefits of being in a maintenance free community on the Outer Banks, it just took off.”

The most popular model at Devonshire Place, the Somerset, is being built at the latest project for FLOBX — Sun Salt Aire Townhomes, on Carolyn Street in Kill Devil Hills.

Another project, Beacon Quarters at Corolla Light, is breaking ground this month, with prices starting in the low to mid $200s.
