Sandra Sue Sisler Morrison, 68, of Kill Devil Hills, NC passed away peacefully Saturday, December 1, 2018, after a long battle with ALS. Born in Fairmont, WV on December 27, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Earlene Marie Todd Sisler and George Warren Sisler.
Forever the entrepreneur, she was co-owner of Earthworks for many years. Also, her love for the Outer Banks and people prompted her to open Sandy Beach Tours and Scoot-Hers, which brought her much joy.
Sandi will be missed by her three children, Sue Stafford, Tammie Hinson, and Scott Sciegaj; and four grandchildren, Dakota Briggs, Willa Briggs, Noah Hinson, and Ellie Hinson.
She was proceeded in death by her longtime sweetheart and companion, Jim Laughridge.
In keeping with her wishes, there will be a memorial service in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, she asked that donations be made to ALS, SPCA or the American Diabetes Association.
