Reuhbottom replacement on board to be named next month

By on October 15, 2018

Brandi Reuhbottom finalized her resignation from the Kill Devil Hills Board of Commissioners on Saturday, formally opening her seat with just over a year remaining on the current term.

Reuhbottom announced in August she would be stepping aside after seven years, but had left the date open until she had completed moving outside the town limits.

Applications were accepted in September for those that wished to be named her replacement. But last week, the board delayed making a decision because Reuhbottom was still eligible to serve.

The appointment has now been scheduled to take place at the board’s meeting on November 14.
