Applications being accepted for open KDH commissioner seat

The Town of Kill Devil Hills is now accepted applications from qualified residents interested in serving in the soon to be open seat on the town’s Board of Commissioners.

Brandi H. Rheubottom submitted notice of her resignation from the board on Aug. 22, leaving the date of her resignation open to give the rest of the Board of Commissioners time to find a replacement.

Rehubottom cited personal reasons as to why she was stepping down in the third year of her second term.

Potential candidates must complete an application in order to be considered, and may include a resume with the completed application.

Paper applications may be obtained at the Office of the Town Clerk, 102 Town Hall Drive, off Colington Road; at the Kill Devil Hills Branch of the Dare County Library, 400 Mustian Street.

Electronic applications can be found at www.kdhnc.com/438/News, or through the Town of Kill Devil Hills Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/townofkdh. The PDF form must be printed and signed for submission.

Applications will be accepted by the Town Clerk until 5 p.m. on September 17, 2018.

They can be mailed to KDH Town Clerk, P.O. Box 1719, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948; delivered to the KDH Town Clerk’s Office; or scanned and e-mailed to mary@kdhnc.com.
