Frances Christine Sikora Coleman of Manteo, June 9

Frances Christine Sikora Coleman, 72, of Manteo, NC died Saturday, June 9, 2018, at Sentara Leigh Hospital.

A native of Manteo, she was born April 18, 1946, to the late Florence “Flonnie” Midgett Sikora and Francis “Frank” Christopher Sikora.

In her early years, Francie worked as a waitress at Owens Restaurant. She loved gardening and later worked as a cashier at The Elizabethan Gardens.

Francie always looked her best and never went a day without her makeup. A member of Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church, her faith in the Lord was strong despite her circumstances.

Francie is survived by a daughter, Brandi Coleman Combs and husband, Neal of Manteo; a granddaughter, Sydni Combs also of Manteo; and several loving nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, Jeanine Tillett and Jerry Daniels.

A service of remembrance will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at Manteo Baptist Church with Rev. Gregory Clark and Rev. David Daniels officiating.

    I new France’s in the 1960a. We were pals for a while until I moved. I did not realize she was still in Many do. So sorry to get of her passing.

    I knew Frances when she was a resident of Britthaven . Always enjoyed talking to her. She was always dressed to the “nines” and I was jealous of her nails.
