Kacy Creef named hospital’s May Employee of the Month

Kasy Creef was named The Outer Bank’s Hospital’s May employee of the month.

Kacy Creef, operation room surgical technician, is The Outer Banks Hospital’s May Employee of the Month. Creef is a true North Carolina girl, hailing from Rocky Mount. She joined TOBH in 2016 after completing her clinicals here.

Creef strives for perfection in the operation room and sets the bar high in an effort to improve and enhance her skills. She is always prepared for assignments and takes initiative to study and review procedures. Creef is full of positive energy with a kind and inclusive demeanor. She is a team player and promotes team participation in hospital activities. She is appreciated by both physicians and students for her enthusiasm, willingness to learn and patience, according to a hospital press release.

“I was completely surprised, and thankful beyond measure. I cannot express how greatly it blessed my heart,” Creef said after receiving the honor. “The kind words written by fellow employees were very special. I have had the privilege of being trained and working beside some of the best surgical technologists, nurses, and surgeons. I am just so humbled to be a part of our very competent and talented team,” she added.
