Applications are now being accepted for the 2018 Dare County Master Gardener program. A minimum of 15 students are required for the class to take place, and space is limited to 25 students, so don’t delay in applying.

No formal training is necessary to qualify for the Master Gardener program, only a willingness to learn about gardening on the Outer Banks and become a volunteer committed to helping people with their gardening problems.

Classes begin February 6th and meet each Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. until May 15th. Classes include lectures, hands-on activities, field trips and guest speakers.
