Don’t let old family treasures meet their demise under your care; instead, learn how to preserve them for the next generation.

Make an appointment to receive free, professional advice on how to care for, preserve and protect precious family heirlooms during Conservation Assistance Day at Roanoke Island Festival Park.

N.C. Museum of History conservators Paige Myers and Jennifer French will be on hand at Festival Park from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, offering consultations on preserving individual family heirlooms.


The event will be held in the Meeting Room. To make a 30-minute appointment, call Anna Davis at (252) 475-1500, ext. 229.

All items must be pre-approved, so call soon for an appointment.
