Duck, NC – The Town of Duck is pleased to announce that Mayor Don Kingston has been selected for a two-year term on the Board of Directors of the North Carolina League of Municipalities (NCLM).

In that role, Mayor Kingston will help oversee the advocacy and membership service efforts of the League, which represents more than 540 cities, towns, and villages across North Carolina. The League advocates for its members, from the largest city to the smallest village, on the full range of legislative issues that affect municipalities.

League Executive Director Paul Meyer said he looks forward to working with Mayor Kingston and is confident that his contributions will continue to help NCLM better enable cities and towns across North Carolina to better serve their residents.
