Debra Ann Turner of Kill Devil Hills, Sept. 24

Debra Ann Turner, 57 passed away peacefully Sunday Sept. 24, 2017 of natural causes at her Kill Devil Hills residence. Debra was born in South Dakota on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. She was proud of her Sioux- Lakota heritage.

Debra truly loved life, her husband, her children, her grandchildren and her family. May Debra’s spirit soar high as “Lakota Blubird.”

Debra’s survivors include her husband Tad Turner of Kill Devil Hills; her two sons, Doug Wyker (Jessica) and John Wyker (Katiana) all of Florida; two grandchildren, Blaine and Ashton also of Florida; many other family members; and her loving and loyal friends Barbara and Jack Neighbors of Kill Devil Hills.


Plans are pending for a celebration of Debra’s life.
