Pitch in to help clean up Dare beaches, communities Saturday

Help keep Dare County’s beaches and community clean between 9 a.m. and noon Saturday, Sept. 23, during the 31st annual Outer Banks Beach Sweep.

Stop by the most convenient zone location Saturday morning to pick up supplies and be directed to a nearby location for the cleanup.

  • Chicahauk (Southern Shores)
  • Kitty Hawk Bath House
  • Avalon Pier
  • Kill Devil Hills Ocean Rescue – Ocean Bay Boulevard
  • Bonnett Street
  • Jennette’s Pier

Following the cleanup, volunteers are invited to TrashFest at Outer Banks Brewing Station to enjoy complimentary food by the Brewing Station, along with beverages and live music by Mosquito Net.

TrashFest’s admission ticket is a completed trash pick-up data card. Group cards are welcome.
