What’s for Supper with Sharon Peele Kennedy: Crab cakes

Crab Cakes
1 lb crabmeat
2 slices bread, crust removed
1-2 tbsp mayo
1-2 tsp old bay
1/2 tsp mustard
1 egg
Mix bread, mayo, old bay, mustard,egg, mix well, add in crabmeat, making sure to remove any shells from the meat. Make into patties, they can be fried, sauteed or broiled.

    Simply sublime classic Maryland recipe but question the amount of Old Bay. Typo? 1/2 teaspoon would be more in proportion to one pound of crabmeat.

    Just an FYI–In the video, 2 eggs are used, but the written recipe says 1.

    Pat I had meant to say 1 tsp of old bay, the recipe calls for 2. sorry for mistake.
