Visitors Bureau angles for spring business
As it pursues an Internet campaign to draw more spring business, the Outer Banks Visitors Bureau is seeing hints of better-than-expected summer bookings. In an informal survey of 26 rental companies, Lee Nettles, the bureau’s new managing director, found about 40 percent considered themselves ahead of expected bookings.
