Nags Head sand project part of a larger puzzle
We’re fully engaged now. Sand is pouring onto the beach and will continue to, 24/7, throughout the summer season.
The nourishment project marks the first truly engineered sand replenishment plan on our beaches. Despite other pictures and descriptions circulating around the web, those projects were not even a drop in the bucket relative to the scale and engineering work that has gone into Nags Head’s project.
