Hatteras byways project to seek $1.95 million grant

Swamped by rain, Ocean Acres pleads for help

Low pressure is possible during flushing

Nags Head will be flushing its water system through Jan. 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pressure could drop and water could get discolored while the work’s being done, the town said on its Web site.
