Sessions to look at safeguarding cultural treasures
The Connecting to Collections (C2C) Project will present two workshops in February on Hatteras Island to help cultural treasures survive hurricanes and fires. Matthew Hunt, disaster preparedness coordinator for the N.C. Department of Cultural Resources’ C2C project, will lead both of the public programs that will take place in Hatteras and Buxton.
Education series continues at Heritage Park

Woman’s Club to hold Bunco tournament
The Moyock Woman’s Club will host a Bunco tournament on Friday, Jan. 27, starting at 7 p.m. at the Bells Island Clubhouse in Currituck.
