Thank you for your interest in advertising with us. Since February, 2010, we have had more than 6.5 million page views, with recent numbers rising as more readers learn about our site. We have more than 13,000 fans on our Facebook page. We are consistently above the norm for similar-sized sites by most measures, in some cases by more than 100 percent.

The Outer Banks Voice offers local news, opinion and conversation for residents of Dare County and its incorporated towns of Manteo, Nags Head, Kill Devil Hills, Kitty Hawk, Southern Shores and Duck. Readers include out-of-area property owners as well as seasonal visitors with an interest in the area, greatly expanding the audience. We have seen interest from all 50 states and visits from overseas.

The Voice is more than a blog or aggregator. It is a portal for news of interest to our readers. You will find local government, political, business and community-interest stories created by our own writers. Readers will also find summaries with links to statewide stories that they will find relevant to the Outer Banks and their lives.

Advertisers will reach a civic-minded audience, many of them property and business owners with a financial stake in the community and an interest in local government.

In March, 2011 we entered into an agreement with Max Radio of the Carolinas to take over the management of our advertising. Max Radio of the Carolinas represents local radio stations Beach 104, Water County 94.5, Classic Hits 104.9 & 92.3, The Sound 99.1, ESPN Radio 97.1, WGAI-560 AM, Elizabeth City and WQDK, 99.3 in Ahoskie, NC. Significant discounts for advertising on the Outer Banks Voice are available for those who choose to advertise on both radio and our news site.
