Man injured at power substation in Nags Head

A worker was injured at the Dominion Power substation in Nags Head Friday and flown to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital for treatment.

Omar Rodriguez, 29, a contract worker from Connecticut, was electrocuted at the Lakeside Street facility, Police Chief Kevin Brinkley said.

He was taken to The Outer Banks Hospital, then flown to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries.

Actually, I had the same question and looked it up. By some definitions, it can include injury. But shocked probably would have been better.

With all due respect Rob, unless Mr. Rodriguez was killed by the electrical shock, he was not electrocuted.
