Currituck teens accused of assault, dealing fake drugs

A pair of teens from Moyock were arrested Tuesday on charges related to an alleged assault with a deadly weapon and trying to sell fake drugs after a weekend incident.

Dylan C. Whittington, 16, and Bradley M. Allen, 17, were each charged with assault with a deadly weapon, selling or delivering counterfeit controlled substances and conspiracy to commit a felony.

They were booked in lieu of $10,000 bond each and were scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.

The Currituck Sheriff’s Office said the victim of the assault suffered cuts to a leg but no other details were provided.
