Kitty Hawk UMC will NOT have an 8:30 am worship service. Sunday School is also cancelled. There will be an 11 am worship service if conditions are favorable.
First and foremost: stay safe. Don’t get out on the road if it is covered with debris. Don’t take any risks to get to church.
I will go to church if I am able to get there, but if the roads are flooded or if trees are down, or if the winds and/or appear threatening stay home because I probably will. In that case stay at home, study your Bible, and pray for those in the path of the storm.
If you are without power in the morning I would recommend that you not try to go to church.
On the other hand, if the roads look clear, the flooding is minimal, we have power, and the winds aren’t gusting any more than they are this evening, then I look forward to gathering in our place of worship at 11:00 am to sing praises to God.
God bless you,
Alan
