Suspect sought in rape reported in Manns Harbor

A 22-year-old man is wanted in connection with a rape reported in Manns Harbor early Wednesday.
The Dare County Sheriff’s Office is looking for Eric Daniel Manes, who is originally from Beaufort County.
He was last seen riding a dark colored cruiser‐type bicycle, the sheriff’s office said in a statement.
Anyone who has seen Manes is asked to contact the Dare County Sheriff’s Office at (252) 475‐5980 or the Dare Community Crime Line at (252)‐473‐3111.
