Mustang Festival this weekend
The Mustang Music Festival, a benefit for the Corolla Wild Horse Fund, will present 18 great bands on Saturday Oct. 13 and Sunday Oct. 14 on the grounds of Mike Dianna’s Grill Room in Timbuck II Village in Corolla.
The festival is headlined by Ivan Neville’s Dumpstaphunk on Saturday, and 2012 Grammy Award Winners Rebirth Brass Band on Sunday, and includes non-stop music both days, family friendly activities, an art show and sale, food, wine, craft beers and much more.
Tickets are $50 for both days and $30 for a single day ticket and are available on the website and locally at Trio in Kitty Hawk and at Mike Dianna’s Grill Room in Corolla. All Proceeds from the festival benefit the Corolla Wild Horse Fund.
Corolla Shuttle will have two buses running each day from noon until 2:30 a.m., with stops in most Corolla neighborhoods, The Hampton Inn and Suites at Pine Island, Duck, and Southern Shores/Kitty Hawk.
The cost is just $5 to ride all weekend.
