The North Carolina Association of Educators has announced endorsements for legislative races in the upcoming general election.  The endorsements are made through the NCAE-PAC, the Association’s political arm that helps elect candidates at the local, state and federal level.

Sen. Stan White, a Democrat representing NC Senate District 1 in northeastern North Carolina, won the endorsement of the NCAE-PAC in his bid for a second term.

The NCAE has almost 70,000 members and is one of the largest affiliates of the National Education Association in the nation.  The mission of the organization is to advocate for education professionals and to promote an equitable and quality education for every child.
