46-year-old man victim of fatal Moyock fire

The body found in a burning mobile home Tuesday afternoon in northwestern Moyock has been identified as a 46-year-old man.

Billy Ray Clark was found in his home at 108 Moon Court in the Carolina Village neighborhood.

The fire was reported just after 1 p.m., with units from the Moyock and Crawford fire departments responding.

The State Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Currituck County Sheriff’s Office with determining what caused the fire and Clark’s death.
