Directions: Exiting the Currituck Club, turn right onto N.C. 12 and travel 1.2 miles to Section B of Ocean Sands. Turn left onto Seashell Lane. Proceed to the end of the cul-de-sac and find the home on the oceanfront.

Profile of Remodeling Project: The vision behind this remodeling project was to transform the kitchen, half bath and dining and living areas of this oceanfront home from an outdated rental property into a more comfortable, functional and elegant living space where the homeowners could entertain their personal guests.

Larger windows were installed to enhance the panoramic view. A built-in bench was designed and crafted to fit under the windows, maximizing seating space and taking full advantage of the view. Additional customized built-ins created an entertainment center as well as shelving and storage. Further upgrades include oak floors, lighting fixtures, stainless appliances, maple cabinets, and quartzite countertops.

Approximate remodeled area: 1,000 square feet
