Grace Lutheran helps Nags Head Elementary

On Sept. 7, Candy Engel (center) of Grace Lutheran Church in Nags Head presented a check for $300 to Nags Head Elementary School Counselor Chuck Voigt with Principal Adrienne Palma to be used for students’ school supplies.

“In addition to the check,” notes Voigt,  “the church congregation also donated backpacks filled with supplies so that students could start off the school year ready to learn.”  

Grace Lutheran has generously donated school supplies to the NHES Waveriders each year since 2006, the first full school year in the building.
