The robber was a heavyset white male and 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 11 inches tall, the statement said. He wore gloves, a mask, black clothing and white shoes. He left on foot in an unknown direction.

Police arrived within a minute of a half and immediately searched the area for the suspect, the statement said.

There is no good picture of this guy. Other than white shoes and he could have chunked those by now. Please pray for our nation because it is in bad shape. There is evil lurking everywhere and it seems to be getting worse. God is the only one that can fix the mess we are in.

Actually, violent crime is down significantly nationwide over the past 20 years, and it continues to trend downward. Sometimes, people rob fast food joints. It sucks, but it’s a mess that seems to be fixing itself without your god.

@obxer- There’s nothing new about armed robberies. You can calm down now, before you start blaming this particular incident on our Nigerian, Indonesian, Hawaiian, Muslim, anti-American, communist, socialist, illegal-immigrant bastard-child no-birth-certificate President. Take a deep breath and calm down.

A Brain– if you think crime is fixing itself you are surely deceived. You need to wake up to the real world. Not sure where you get your statistics but I would research other avenues.

OK..this is what the 4th robbery this year in “french fry” alley…why arent the cops patroling this area like white on rice on a paper plate and a glass of milk in a snow storm?!! and when are the businesses going to step up their cameras to include outside areas too?! This is becoming way to common..

Shut up all of you! Statistics don’t matter, politics don’t matter, none of your Gods matter, people need to start holding people accountable for their actions instead of blaming everything else. None of you have any idea what you’re talking about, and you won’t until you have been robbed at gunpoint. No matter how many cameras people will find a way, and you have no idea what the police are or aren’t doing so get over yourselves.

@ AMA…cant hold people accountable for anything until the cops catch him…so get over yourself.

Since when did we start becoming so defensive when ppl talk about God? Which God? um im pretty sure that person was referring to Jesus.

After the derecho (straight line wind storm) that struck our area not long ago, a few homes without power were robbed. One robber even apologized to a woman, saying “sorry, but I have a kid I have to take care of”. Between the economy and various drug addictions, robberies will continue.
But yes, this crime is nowhere near as prevalent now as in the 1970′s. The most common crime in the world now is identity theft.

As quick as the cops got there and he still got away, I’m going to guess the guy had help. So that’s two people who know, at a minimum, and once two people know a secret, it’s not a secret anymore. A pity the reward is so paltry, but since Wendy’s will probably make back whatever was stolen in short order, they probably don’t give a flip of a hamburger.

Just give all the employees in French Fry Alley sawed-off shotguns!

I’d like a single with cheese and 2 rounds of buckshot in my backside, yo!

This message board is starting to sound like “rants and raves”. Tolerance and civility might be a better way to go. Hopefully police will be able to find the perpetrator soon and put everyone’s mind at ease.
