Vacationer charged with indecent liberties

A 35-year-old Ohio man has been charged with indecent liberties while vacationing on Hatteras Island.

Investigators stopped Tereso Maximino Almanza after being notified, continued their investigation and subsequently charged him with felony indecent liberties with a child, the Dare County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.

Almanza was taken to the Dare County Detention Center, and was held in lieu of $15,000 bail.
