Jones beach access bill heads for House vote

The U.S. House of Representatives’ Committee on Natural Resources voted Thursday to send a bill that would overturn the Park Service’s new off-road vehicle plan for the Cape Hatteras National Seashore to the House floor.
H.R. 4094 would overturn the final off-road vehicle plan, end a court-agreed-to consent decree and return management at the Cape Hatteras National Seashore to the 2007 Interim Protected Species Management Plan.

Call your Senator. If it passes the house then it has to make it through the Senate in an election year! Not an easy task. Call Senators, get your stories to them.

Write to Congress and the Senate. Write your NC House and Senate members and ask them for support.

YOU can E-mail them too.. and get the state around us..I did Pa Ohio NJ etc.. all the people who visit…have a stake in this too.. get on the Phone Email or write..lets do this..

These days there is no such thing as a “non partisan” issue. What one party wants, the other opposes.

Good point Allan2. Interesting part is that this is a bipartisan bill with bipartisan support so I guess nobody will like it. Or, maybe they’ll all like it so let’s hope.

I just saw both sides of the political spectrum join togather to oppose National Security Leaks from the White House. Hopefully the same for this bill.
