Art work needed for ‘OBX Sounds’ album

The Dare County Arts Council and 99.1 The Sound are seeking original art work to accompany the first compilation CD of local musicians creating original music.

Artwork must be created/submitted in one of the five following programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Quark Express or Corel Draw. Email your submission to:  info@darearts.org

The submission deadline is Mar. 31. The winning artist will receive recognition on 1000 CDs, posters, all other marketing materials associated with the project and 20 copies of the CD.

The first edition of the Outer Banks Sounds CD will be released to the public in May. For more information call the Dare County Arts Council at 252-473-5558.
