EVERYONE BEWARE
Whenever using a generator REMEMBER
a generator has a capacitor which stores
HUGE amounts of electricity. Even when
the generator is not running the capacitor
can discharge and you can be electrocuted
like my brother in law was after Hurricane Ivan.
When will you address the beach driving fees that go into effect next month on Hatteras Island? Our way of life here is do change and our vistors are are going to be unhappy. How bad will it be for the economy?
Our golden retreiver was viciously attacked on Saturday by 4 unleashed dogs. We need to all stop taking the leash laws so casually and start making sure our neighbors, as well as ourselves, keep our pets on leashes when they are outside. It’s the law.
We have made it a practice on pending cases like this to suspend comments because too many people post “facts” that are untrue based on what they think they know about the case or the individual. Also, everyone is innocent until proven guilty. For example, just because someone was charged with a DWI in an accident doesn’t mean they were impaired until a court says so. But people will post as if that is fact, and often get into other personal information on those charged that is hearsay. We try to wait until law enforcement, the D.A. and the court system bring out the facts in an official manner.
