Low pressure is possible during flushing
Rob Morris | January 10, 2010
Nags Head will be flushing its water system through Jan. 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pressure could drop and water could get discolored while the work’s being done, the town said on its Web site.
Areas affected are South Croatan Highway from West 8th Street south to Carolista Drive (Jockey’s Ridge State Park). Affected neighborhoods include Nags Head Pond, Nags Head Acres, Vista Colony, Hills of Nags Head, Villa Dunes Drive and Northridge.
The town did not say exactly when specific areas might be affected. For more information, call 441-1122.
